You do not need an account to use FreeToolsVerse. Most tools work on your files and text inside your own browser, so the content never reaches our servers. A few tools have to contact another service to do their job, and each of them says so on its page. We use Google Analytics to count visits and may show advertising. The details are below.
Calculators, PDF and image tools, converters, text tools, formatters, generators and most other tools run in your browser. The text, files and numbers you enter are processed on your device and are not uploaded to FreeToolsVerse or stored by us. When you close the page, they are gone.
The following tools need to contact another service to give you a result. The page of each one explains what is sent and to whom:
A few tools keep what you enter on your device but download data first: Currency Converter and OCR - Image to Text. The Currency Converter downloads exchange rates for the currency you pick, and OCR downloads its recognition engine and language files from public hosting services. Your amounts, images and text are not sent.
The lookup tools that run through our server (HTTP status, redirect and server checks, and WHOIS/RDAP) do not save the addresses you check or their results. Like any web host, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs of requests.
With your permission where the law requires it (see "Your choices" below), we use Google Analytics and our own simple page counts to understand which pages and tools are used. Our own counts store the page address, page title, referrer, device type and browser description together with a random session ID that lives in your browser's session storage and is gone when you close the tab.
Google Analytics It records things like the pages you view, your approximate location, your browser and device type, and it sets cookies to tell visits apart. We do not send the content you enter into tools to Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or we cannot tell where you are, Google Analytics, our page counts and any advertising scripts stay off until you allow them in the banner. "Reject all" is as easy to choose as "Accept all", and the tools work the same either way. Elsewhere, statistics are on by default and advertising is on unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour by not loading advertising. In every region you can change your mind at any time with the Privacy settings link at the bottom of each page. If you withdraw consent, we stop the scripts and remove the Google Analytics cookies we can reach.
To remember your choice we set a cookie called fv_consent for 180 days, after which we ask again. A second cookie, fv_geo, holds your two-letter country code for 7 days so we know whether to show the banner. The country is taken from your request when you first visit; we do not store it on our servers.
We also use functional storage in your browser (local storage) for features you choose to use, such as favorite tools and recently used tools. This stays on your device. A separate sign-in cookie is used only by the site's administrators.
We may show ads to support the site, for example through Google AdSense, only to visitors whose settings allow advertising (see "Your choices"). If you do not allow it, no advertising script is loaded. If ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Ads do not change tool results, and we do not sell your data.
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply and to fix the problem you describe.
The tools are general-purpose utilities and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The site is served over HTTPS. Because most tools work locally, your inputs are not exposed to our servers. No online service can promise perfect security, so do not enter secrets you are not comfortable handling in a web page.
We update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top. For how we check and maintain the tools, see the editorial standards.
