What Link & Anchor Text Analyzer does

The Link & Anchor Text Analyzer lists every link in a block of HTML with its anchor text, whether it is internal or external, and its rel attributes such as nofollow, sponsored or ugc. Paste a page's source or an article draft to audit internal linking, spot empty or generic anchors like "click here", and confirm which outbound links pass authority. It analyzes only the HTML you paste; it does not look up backlinks from other websites. Everything runs in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool find backlinks pointing to my site?
No. Finding backlinks requires a crawler index such as Google Search Console's Links report, Ahrefs or Moz. This tool analyzes the links inside HTML you paste, which is useful for auditing your own pages' internal and outbound links.
How are internal and external links decided?
Absolute links starting with http or https are counted as external, and relative links such as /about or #section as internal. An absolute link to your own domain is therefore counted as external.
What does nofollow mean?
rel="nofollow" asks search engines not to pass ranking credit through a link. Google also supports rel="sponsored" for paid links and rel="ugc" for user-generated content.
Is my HTML uploaded?
No. The HTML is parsed in your browser and never sent to a server.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free with no sign-up.
