What SEO Score Checker does

The SEO Content Checker runs the text you paste through a checklist of on-page best practices: content length, subheadings, paragraph and sentence length, readability and, if you enter a target keyword, whether it appears in the opening, in a heading and at a sensible density. Each item passes or fails with a tip, and the results add up to a score out of 100.

How to use SEO Score Checker

  1. Optionally enter your target keyword
  2. Paste your draft (plain text, Markdown or HTML)
  3. Read the score and the pass or fail result for each check
  4. Apply the tips for failed checks, then paste the revised draft to see the score change

Who should use it

Made for marketers and seo. Typical uses:

  • Getting a baseline score for a new page before optimizing it further
  • Comparing your page's score against a top-ranking competitor's page
  • Spot-checking older content for basic on-page issues during a site audit

Limitations and accuracy

The score is a content checklist, not a prediction of rankings. Google publishes no such score, and rankings also depend on links, page speed, search intent and authority. It reads only the text you paste, not a live page.

Accuracy: Results show what the tool can measure at the moment you run it and can differ from what search engines see. Use them as guidance.

Frequently asked questions

Does a high score guarantee good rankings?
No. It catches obvious gaps in a draft, such as thin content, no subheadings or a keyword missing from the opening. Rankings also depend on backlinks, competition and how well the page matches what searchers want.
What does it check?
Word count, subheadings, paragraph count, average sentence length, Flesch reading ease, links and, when you give a keyword, its first position, density and presence in a heading.
Does it fetch a URL?
No. Paste your text, Markdown or HTML. That keeps drafts and unpublished pages private, since nothing is uploaded.
What keyword density should I aim for?
There is no official target. The check treats roughly 0.5% to 2.5% as a safe range, mainly to warn against stuffing. Write naturally first.
